Praying on Purpose: The 2016 Prayer Challenge

Last year, we started the 2015 Prayer Challenge. The format was slightly different then. I decided to change it up a bit. I knew I was suppose to do another prayer challenge, but I also knew I was being led away from last year’s format. So this year’s prayer challenge will focus on 4 main areas:

Week 1: New Year Resolutions – what are your resolutions? What is God asking you to do this year? How are you going to stick to your resolutions? We will bring our resolutions before God and ask him to Bless them and give us the strength to follow through!

Week 2: What Were You Put On This Earth For? – Do you  know what your purpose is? If you don’t wouldn’t you like to know? And if you do what have you done about it? This weeks focus will be our purpose… and steps to go forward in that purpose!

Week 3: Being Purposeful with Your Relationships – I’m not just talking marriages, but I am talking family, friends, co-workers… Are there people you need to let go of? Are there people you need to reconcile with? We will be looking at the people in our lives and praying for the relationships we need to be investing time in.

Week 4: No More Excuses! – It’s high time that we live life to the fullest! Do you say you are a Christian? Act like it! Sitting on a business idea? Get up and launch it! Our final week will be all about tearing down everything that seeks to come in the way of what God has planned this year. No More Excuses!

We will be praying into these points throughout the weeks and want to get some clear direction from God. Updates will be posted on our social media accounts so please be sure to like us on Facebook and follow us on Instagram.

We do realise however, that some of you will make resolutions concerning your social media accounts and therefore taking a break from it. So if you would like to be a part of the Prayer Challenge, but won’t be using social media, please email us at thedisciplediaries@gmail.com with the subject “2016 Prayer Challenge” and we will add you unto our weekly mailing list!

Each Week you can expect:

  1. A Vlog Post at the beginning of the week to discuss the topic at hand
  2. A mid week Blog Post to encourage you on your prayer journey for the week

So what do I need you to do?

  1. JOIN ME on this Prayer Challenge were we will be looking at Praying on and with a Purpose!
  2. INVITE A FRIEND to join you on this journey
